Our recent research published in Cancer Nanotechnology has been featured in international science news platforms, Scienmag. In this study, we developed a nanowire-based nano-vaccine using poly-L-lactic acid-zinc oxide (PLLA-ZnO) nanocomposites functionalized with carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). The vaccine induced balanced Th1/Th2 immune responses and enhanced both antibody production and T-cell-mediated immunity. This media feature provides an opportunity to share our research findings with a broader scientific community and highlight the potential of nanomaterial-based approaches in cancer immunotherapy.
