2016 Spring Conference of the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials (2016 대한금속재료학회 춘계학술대회 참석)

 Mr. J. B. Shin, Mr. I. H. Cha and Prof. Kim attended 'Spring conference of the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials' held in Gyeongju Korea on April 27 ~ 29, 2016. Mr. J. B. Shin won a Materials morphology award.  

 4월 27 ~ 29 일 경주에서 개최된 2015 대한금속재료학회 춘계학술대회에 참석하였다. 이번 추계학술대회에는 김영근 교수, 대학원생 신지범과 차인호가 참석하였다. 그리고 대학원생 신지범은 재료조직사진상 장려상을 수상하였다. 

  • 발표 내용 
   신지범 (Poster) : 수열합성법을 이용한 PLLA 나노섬유 표면위의 ZnO 나노선 합성 
   차인호 (Poster) : NM/FM/MgO 삼중층의 수직자기이방성 연구 

  • 재료조직사진상 
   신지범 (장려) : Shall we play football with a ZnO ball?


The 22nd Joint Interlaboratory Workshop on Nano-Magnetics (JIWON)

Our laboratory members attended 'The 22nd Joint Interlaboratory Workshop on Nano-Magnetics' held in Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan on Feb. 10 ~ 12, 2016. 일본 Tohoku대 전자공학과 Sahashi교수님 연구실과 워크샵을 가졌다. JIWON은 2005년 2월 1회를 시작으로 매년 센다이(2월)와 서울(8월)을 번갈아 연간 2회 개최되고 있다.


2016 Joint MMM Conference

  A unified master's & doctor's course candidate, Y. S. Jeon, a mater's course candidate Jin Suyue and Prof. Kim attended '2016 Joint MMM Conference' held in San Diego USA on Jan. 11 ~ 15, 2016.

 1월 11 ~ 15일 미국 샌디에고에서 개최된 Joint MMM Conference에 참석하였다. 이번 하계학술대회에는 김영근 교수, 석박통합과정 전유상과 석사과정 김소월이 참석하였다. 




2015 Homecoming Day

Current researchers held Homecoming day located in Gangnam, Korea on December 5, 2015. 

12월 5일 강남 BANBAN 에서 홈커밍데이를 열었다. 홈커밍데이는 매년 5월과 12월에 연간 2회 개최되고 있다.

Kazuhiro Hono, NIMS fellow and Director of magnetic materials unit at NIMS, gave a talk on subject of 'Dy-free high coercivity Nd-Fe-B permanent magnets' at Korea University, Korea on December 1, 2015.

12월 1일 고려대학교에서 NIMS 단장 Kazuhiro Hono는 'Dy-free high coercivity Nd-Fe-B permanent magnets' 주제로 강연하였다.

Hiroaki Yoda, a Senior Fellow at Toshiba Corporation, gave a talk on subject of 'The Progresses of STT-MRAM with perpendicular MTJ, The effect on Energy saving and Discussion on a Potential for Further saving' at Korea University, Korea on October 27, 2015.

10월 27일 고려대학교에서 도시바 선임연구원 Hiroaki Yoda는 'The Progresses of STT-MRAM with perpendicular MTJ, The effect on Energy saving and Discussion on a Potential for Further saving' 주제로 강연하였다

 Professor Kim received the ILJIN Award from the Chairman of the ILJIN Group, C. K. Huh, through the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials at the Fall Meeting on October 29th, 2015. Congratulations!

  10월 29일 대전 컨벤션센터에서 개최된 2015년 대한금속.재료학회 정기총회 및 추계 학술대회에서, 김영근 교수께서는 일진그룹 허진규 회장께서 수여하는 일진학술상을 수상하셨습니다. 김영근 교수께서는 고려대학교에 재직하면서 자성-광학 복합기능 나노소재를 개발하고 바이오메디컬 분야에 응용하여 뛰어난 연구 성과를 이루어 신소재 기술발전에 기여한 공로로 일진학술상을 수상하셨습니다. 축하드립니다.
